Disco Sugar accepts custom cake orders on a month-to-month basis. Orders open on the first Sunday of each month for the following month. For example, February orders open on Sunday, January 4 at 9:30 AM. Availability is limited, so book early!

To place an order:

1. Submit an enquiry form.

2. You’ll receive an email confirming whether DS can take your order, along with an invoice for the deposit to hold your date.

3. Submit your deposit to officially reserve your date.

4. Within two weeks, DS will follow up to review your cake design specifics & finalize your invoice.

5. Final payment is due 7 days before pickup, and pickup details will be shared then.

Please note: Submitting an enquiry form does not guarantee your order. Orders are only confirmed via email, and a deposit is required to secure your booking.

Once your order is accepted, you’ll receive an invoice for the deposit to secure your date.

• Deposit amount: $100 (applied to your final order total)

• Payment deadline: Within 48 hours or your spot may be released

• Refund policy: Deposits are nonrefundable, but may be transferrable if mutually agreed upon

For standard custom cakes, Disco Sugar books on a month-to-month basis only. This keeps scheduling flexible and means you don’t need to plan months ahead to secure a cake. Subscribe to our email list to be the first to know when dates open for your event month!

For large tiered cakes, advanced booking may be available. Please email info@discosugar.com to inquire.

Weddings and special events booked through the VIP Events Package enjoy advanced booking privileges, guaranteeing your spot on our calendar. A $350 minimum applies—visit the “Weddings” page for details.

Pickups are typically available Thursday through Saturday. If your preferred date isn’t listed, you may be able to select an earlier date.

• Cakes stay fresh in the fridge for up to 5 days or longer in the freezer. Freezing instructions will be provided if needed.

• Please let us know if you plan to delay cutting your cake.

Note: Dates listed on the form are firm. Please do not submit a form for a date that isn’t available.

Disco Sugar does not have a walk-up storefront. Pickup is in downtown Rochester, NY. I will provide the exact address the week of your order. The Blue Cross Arena is about 5 minutes from my kitchen. I AM NOT LOCATED NEAR NYC.
